An exciting evening of stories from Antonio Rocha
and music from Inácio do Nascimento. Inácio is
a small farmer, musician, and Brazilian activist featured in
the award-winning documentary, Ciclovida. Antonio's unique solo
shows of stories and mime have been performed from Singapore
to Hawaii and many places in between, including fourteen countries
on six continents. Both performers bring you heartfelt stories
about struggle and hope in Brazil.

Ever wonder how much electricity you could generate
just by pedaling your feet? In this hands-on workshop, participants
will learn about sustainable energy and how the makers of Ciclovida
power each film showing with their bicycles.

Cavalcante rode their bikes thousands of miles across South
America, collecting natural seeds and stories of how industrial
agriculture is displacing thousands of small farmers from their
land. Now, they've travelled hundreds of miles across the northeast
with filmmaker Matt Feinstein to share their award-winning documentary,
Ciclovida, with us in
Lewiston! Join us for the local premiere and in-depth conversations
about important issues happening in Brazil as well here in Maine.
